Candidates must register on the NATS portal and then apply through the UMANG portal between 29.07.2026 and 28.08.2026.

- Submission of Medical Certificate at the time of joining
ਅਰਜ਼ੀ ਕਿਵੇਂ ਦੇਣੀ ਹੈ
- Enroll/register on the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) portal at https://nats.education.gov.in and upload Degree/Diploma certificate and valid government-issued ID to obtain the Enrolment Number / Apprenticeship Registration Number
- Ensure Aadhaar number is seeded with the bank account and enabled for DBT payment
- Register and login on the UMANG portal at https://web.umang.gov.in/landing/, search for 'URSC Apprenticeship', apply for the position, fill all required details and submit
- Upload marks certificates of all semesters/years in one file (max 1 MB) and Degree/Diploma/Provisional/Passing certificate (max 1 MB) in jpg/jpeg/png format
- Upload photograph and signature (max 50 KB each) and caste/disability certificates where applicable
- Compulsorily indicate the NATS Enrolment Number / Apprenticeship Registration Number in the UMANG online application

How many apprentice positions are available?
A total of 410 positions — 220 Graduate Apprentices, 120 Technician (Diploma) Apprentices and 70 Commercial Practice Apprentices.
What stipend will apprentices receive?
₹12,300 per month for Graduate Apprentices and ₹10,900 per month for Technician (Diploma) and Commercial Practice Apprentices.
Who is eligible to apply?
Indian nationals holding B.E./B.Tech in the relevant branch, or Diploma in the relevant engineering discipline or in Commercial Practice, who passed as regular candidates in 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025 or 2026. Those who passed earlier than 2021, who have already done/are doing apprenticeship, have one year or more experience, or are pursuing higher studies are not eligible.
How are candidates selected?
Candidates are shortlisted on the basis of the percentage of marks in the respective discipline, called for document verification, and a panel is drawn on academic scores. Induction is strictly based on position in the panel and selected candidates are informed only by email.

First register on the NATS portal (https://nats.education.gov.in) to get an Enrolment/Apprenticeship Registration Number, then apply for URSC Apprenticeship on the UMANG portal (https://web.umang.gov.in/landing/).
